Registration Fees

Standard delegate: £587.50

Students¹: £332.06

Reduced rate²: £178.80
(For delegates from low-middle income countries)

Special Interest Group meetings (morning and afternoon): £25.00 each

A one day rate of £176.25 per day is available. Please contact customerservice-mycology10@elsevier.com for more details.

¹Student rate applies to those registered for a higher degree. Student registration forms must be accompanied by a signed letter from your head of department attesting to student status.

²Delegates registering at the reduced rate will be required to bring ID to the conference to prove their nationality

The registration fee includes:

Accompanying Persons

Accompanying persons may register for attendance at the welcome reception on Sunday 1 August and the End-of-Congress Party on Friday 6 August at a cost of £82.25 (including VAT) per person.

End-of-Congress Party

Don’t miss out on the exciting end of conference party to be held from 8.00 till late at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre on Friday 6 August 2010. This will be a fantastic end to an eventful conference week with a range of entertainments and experiences on offer.

There will be all kinds of live entertainment throughout the night including a traditional Scottish Ceilidh led by The Occasionals, African music from Rise Kagona (ex Bhundi Boys) and Doug Veitch, ska music from the Ska Tones, blue grass/folk music from the Hannah Read Band, DJ Dolphin Boy and much, much more. You will also be able to learn how to salsa dance and even have your own 10 minutes of fame at the Open ‘Myc’ session and in the karaoke room.

This promises to be a fun and action packed evening where you will have the chance to sample food from over the world from a variety of different outlets. Do not miss out!

Tickets cost £35.00 + VAT = £41.13 and can be booked via the online registration form.

Payment

Registration fees are payable in advance of the conference. In order to expedite the registration process, please complete the online registration form with your credit card details. Confirmation of your credit card payment along with registration confirmation documents will be sent to you by (air)mail. If you do not receive confirmation of your registration 7 days prior to the event, please contact the conference secretariat.

Cancellations

Substitutions may be made at any time but please advise the Conference Secretariat of a change of name. If you find it necessary to cancel the registration completely, please notify the Conference Secretariat immediately. Provided written notice is received by 20 June 2010, a full refund will be given less a 10% administration charge. Provided written notice is received by 4 July 2010, a 50% refund will be given. It is regretted for registrations cancelled after 4 July 2010, or for no-shows at the conference, the full fee (100% cancellation charges) will be payable. In the unlikely event that Elsevier shall deem it necessary to cancel the conference, all pre-paid registration fees will be reimbursed. Elsevier shall not be liable for reimbursing the cost of travel or accommodation arrangements made by individual delegates.

Changes

Details are correct at the time of going to print. Elsevier reserves the right to change any session in the final program.

Photography

Please be advised that no photography or video/sound recording of conference presentations is allowed to take place during the conference.
